Abstract
Ranges of polygnathids from Frasnian sections of the Rheinisches Schiefergebirge are studied in faunas from the Standard Conodont Zonation. Polygnathids from various coeval sections of different facies in many regions of the Russian Platform are compared, and possible correlations of epicontinental successions with the Standard Scale are discussed. Some trends in polygnathid evolution are described.
