Abstract

The relevance of the research is determined by the rapid development of digital educational technologies (EdTech). The COVID pandemic became a powerful driver of the EdTech market development, when most educational organizations were forced to introduce remote technologies. The article discusses the main results of the development of the EdTech market in Russia in 2021, presents a rating of the largest commercial educational projects, and also assesses the prospects for 2022. Among the key negative factors, sanctions pressure, threats to cybersecurity, and a decrease in effective demand are highlighted. The positive trends include import substitution, opportunities for the implementation of joint educational projects between state universities and the largest digital educational platforms. The results of the study can be used in the development of digital transformation strategies in universities, colleges, schools, organizations of additional education.
