Abstract

Modern information technologies provide wide opportunities for increasing the effi ciency of learning and practical application of knowledge in various spheres of activity. One of such spheres is the technical maintenance and repair of complex agricultural machinery, which requires high qualifi cation and professionalism from specialists. The article considers an example of introducing new information technologies into the process of learning timely aspects of technical maintenance and quality repair of the tractor "Belarus 1523", which is one of the most common and demanded in agriculture. The authors of the article propose a new approach in the system of technical maintenance of machinery, which consists in using virtual reality, allowing to optimize the learning process and signifi cantly reduce costs. Virtual reality allows creating realistic simulations of various situations related to the operation and repair of machinery, as well as provides interactivity and feedback for learners. Such an approach contributes to increasing motivation, interest and satisfaction from learning, as well as forming the necessary skills and competencies for successful work with agricultural machinery. The article contains a detailed description of the methodology of developing and using virtual reality for learning technical maintenance and repair of the tractor "Belarus 1523", as well as presents the results of experimental testing of the effectiveness of such an approach. The article is of interest for specialists in the fi eld of information technologies, education and agriculture.
