Abstract

In the paper the method of experimental temperature and stress measurement of reinforced concrete foundation slab during construction of the National Supercomputing Centre in Ostrava, Czech Republic is described. Measured results are compared with numerical analysis and time dependent development of concrete strength. Decreasing the tensile stress in concrete by use of the sliding joint was verified.
