Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the feasibility of worksheet learning media based on Learning Cycle 7E in terms of the assessment of expert lecturers and science teachers, students' responses to worksheet based on Learning Cycle 7E, and improving students' science process skills after using worksheet learning media based on Learning Cycle 7E. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The worksheet product was tested using the One Group Pretest - Posttest Design research design in class VII A of SMP Negeri 2 Pakem with a total of 10 students. The technical analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis of the feasibility of the IPA worksheet based on suggestions and assessments from the validator, the percentage of learning implementation, the calculation of student responses to the worksheet, the percentage increase in science process skills based on the science process skill observation sheet, and the calculation of paired sample t-test and gain. scores based on the pretest and posttest of science process skills. The results of this study are that worksheet based on Learning Cycle 7E is suitable for use in science learning based on the assessment of expert lecturers and science teachers, worksheet gets a very good response from students, and worksheet can improve students' science process skills with sufficient category at meeting 1 and good category at meeting 2 and has a gain score in the medium category.
