Abstract

Environmental control and life support system(ECLSS) of the manned spacecraft is an important system to guarantee the safety and life support of the astronauts and the environment inside the space station. For the physicochemical regeneration type of ECLSS(PRLSS), because of its complicated physicochemical process, to analyze and evaluate the mass balance and operation performance through simulation technology is very necessary. The simulation platform is the linchpins of the simulation. This paper deals with the design and development of the realtime simulation platform for PRLSS of China's space station. The target, major functions and relative key problems of the simulation platform are completely described and discussed. The proposed simulation platform can effectively decrease the development costs and shorten the development period. The simulation platform is tested by using the distributed model, and its real-time performance and feasibility of the simulation platform are verified.
