Abstract
As a good insulating medium, SF 6 has been widely used in high voltage circuit breaker, and its state is critical to the system stability. Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional measurement of the state of SF 6 gas, we propose a new system design, which divides the whole system into three parts: data acquisition unit, data concentrators and monitoring software. And ZigBee wireless net and Ethernet communication are used to achieve real-time monitoring of SF 6 circuit breaker. Meanwhile, by using Configuration Software, the system constructs the user-friendly interface and database to display and manage the data of SF 6 gas state, which are used for the more effective evaluation of the running state of the circuit breaker.
