Abstract

When measuring the magnetism of large objects such as air cargo, magnetic flux is measured using a fixed magnetic sensor as the large object is moved. However, there are some problems for moving large objects. One is the strength of the moving machine, and another is the manufacturing cost of the machine. In general, many companies with large objects requiring magnetic measurement send the objects to a magnetic measurement company instead of obtaining the measurement themselves. However, as the number of such measurements increases, the cost increases. To address these problems, we propose a novel magnetic measurement method that enables magnetic measurement when a large object is fixed but a magnetic sensor is moved. Using our method, magnetic flux can be easily measured, regardless of an object’s size, and does not require a machine to move large objects.
