Abstract

The work proves relevance of developing calculation methods to find equilibrium concentrations of aggressive gases in condensate during operation of heat exchange apparatus. It lists main reasons for high content of dissolved corrosive gases in the condensate. The authors propose their own methods for determining equilibrium concentrations of gases in condensate based on Henry's Law. The methods for determining the pressure in the steam and air-steam mixture entering the condensing steam turbine installation are described. An oxygen content calculation for T-100-130 turbine with the standard values of air suction into the condenser and various consumption of cooling water is provided. The paper offers technical measures to ensure the reduction of corrosive gas concentrations within the specified thresholds in all operation modes of capacitors.
