Abstract

Nowadays, lung cancer is the disease with the highest morbidity and mortality in malignant tumors around the world.Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNA) are non-coding RNAs which are larger than 200 nucleotides and not translated into proteins.Current researches indicate lncRNA play important regulatory roles in the expression of genes at the epigenetic, transcriptional and posttranscriptional levels.Recently, the relationships between lncRNA and lung cancer have been a new research hotspot.Studies reveal that MALAT1, H19,lincRNA p21,lncRNA-SCAL1,and BC200 are closely bound up with the development of lung cancer. This paper reviews the development of lncRNA in lung cancer, providing reference for the early-stage diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of lung cancer. Key words: Long non-coding RNA; Lung cancer; Gene regulation
