Abstract

The article deals with the description of the development of systems for production planning and control, which are adapted to the current needs of companies and also to the ongoing fourth industrial revolution. The article describes the gradual development of these systems from the initial systems to the current one's systems, which solve the problem (excess data) that is currently faced by many companies. Due to this problem, several companies may find themselves in a state where they are surrounded by a large amount of data. At the end of the article, the outlook for the future within the development of systems is described and the risk planning module (in the future as a part of the ERP system) is described, which is solved within the dissertation thesis.
