Development of Employability Scale for Students Seeking Employment at Meister High School

Abstract

이 연구는 마이스터고등학교 취업희망자의 고용가능성 측정도구를 개발하고 타당화하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해서 기존의 고용가능성과 관련한 선행연구들을 분석하여 고용가능성의 개념을 명확히하였다. 특히 기존의 선행연구에서 고용가능성의 구성요인으로 외부 환경적 요인을 포함시켜왔다. 그러나 이 연구에서는 고용가능성 그 자체의 정의를 고용능력과 자신감으로 개념화하고 외부 환경적 요인은 고용가능성의 구성요인이 아닌 선행요인으로 판단하였다. 고용가능성의 개념을 개인 내적 측면으로 개념화하고 고용능력과 고용자신감의 두 구인을 구성하였다. 그 후, 선행연구를 바탕으로 각 구인을 측정하고자 하는 문항의 속성을 구성하고 5문항, 4문항의 예비문항을 개발하였다. 개발된 예비문항을 기준으로 마이스터고등학교 취업희망자를 대상으로 예비조사와 본조사를 실시하였다. 예비조사와 본조사 결과를 바탕으로 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 측정도구의 타당성과 신뢰성이 확보된 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 향후 중등단계 직업교육 이수자를 대상으로하는 고용가능성 관련 연구의 필요성과 외부 환경적 요인을 제외한 고용가능성의 측정과 관련한 후속연구를 제언하였다.The purpose of this study is to develop and validate an employability scale for students seeking employment at Meister high school. To this end, the concept of Employability was clarified by analyzing previous studies related to employability. In previous studies, external environmental factors have been included as a component of employability. However, in this study, the definition of employability itself was conceptualized as employability and self-confidence, and external environmental factors were judged as antecedent factors rather than constituent factors of employability. The concept of employability was conceptualized as an internal aspect, and two constructs, employment competency and employment confidence, were constructed. Then, based on previous studies, the attributes of the items to be measured for each construct were constructed, and preliminary items of 5 and 4 items were developed. Based on the developed preliminary questions, a preliminary survey and a main survey were conducted for students seeking employment at Meister high school. Based on the preliminary and main survey results, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and reliability analysis were conducted. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the validity and reliability of the measurement tool were secured. Based on these research results, the need for future employability-related studies targeting secondary level vocational education graduates and follow-up studies related to the measurement of employability excluding external environmental factors were suggested.
