Abstract
The development of theories governing elementary processes in radiation chemistry such as the ironcluster and EHT theories and theories on the mechanism of a neutralization process are discussed. The study of excited molecules in liquids and related systems is discussed. Theories on free-radical diffusion in liquids and electron trapping are presented. (C.J.G.)
