Abstract

It is well known that a given polynomial curve can be suitably represented by a polar form with identical arguments. In this paper, we show that from a given Bézier curve, a large class of curves, herein referred to as Bézier-based curves, can be obtained by varying the arguments of the corresponding polar form.
