Abstract
ABSTRACT Resting spores were obtained in vitro of Zoophthora radicans culture using carbon and nitrogen sources. Yeast extract and peptone as the nitrogen source and sunflower oil and dextrose as the carbon source were utilized at different combinations. Among the different C:N ratios tested for the production of azygospores, 4:8 yeast extract and sunflower oil medium combination was found to yield abundant resting spores when compared to other combinations.
