Abstract

Living Lab (LL) is an innovation platform through co-creation among users and other stakeholders. Existing LL studies have provided frameworks and guidelines for LL practices but not specific methods to manage the long-term and complex design process in an LL project. This study develops a self-assessment tool that supports the effective management of LL projects by assessing the state of LL projects and providing indications for adjusting and improving the design process. The evaluation results demonstrated that the tool is effective for LL project management, as it identifies points to be improved and facilitates introspective reflection on an LL project.
