To determine parameters of the pharmaceutical availability of the herbal medicine for the prophylaxis of gynecological diseases – egg-shaped vaginal suppositories with the essential oil of Thyme (the constants characterizing the kinetics of release and the half-release of thymol (T1/2))
The high antibacterial and antimycotic effects of the essential oil and egg-shaped vaginal suppositories with the essential oil from Thyme have been determined in relation to strains of Candida pathogenic fungi, as well as bacilli and bacteria of St. aureus, St. pyogenes, B. anthracoides, E. coli, Kleb. pneumonium

Summary

ТЕХНОЛОГІЯ ЛІКАРСЬКИХ ПРЕПАРАТІВ

Визначення параметрів фармацевтичної доступності фітозасобу для профілактики гінекологічних захворювань – овулів з ефірною олією чебрецю звичайного (констант, що характеризують кінетику вивільнення та період напіввивільнення тимолу (Т1/2)). Об’єктом дослідження були овулі з ефірною олією чебрецю звичайного. Лабораторними методами аналізу вивчали антибактеріальні властивості та бактеріостатичну дію досліджуваних зразків ефірної олії та вагінальних овулів з ефірною олією чебрецю звичайного. Зроблена оцінка ефективності та якості нової лікарської форми овулів з ефірною олією чебрецю звичайного. Використання повторних досліджень у дослідах in vitro дало змогу збудувати достовірні графіки залежності концентрації вивільнення тимолу від часу. Встановлена висока антимікробна і протигрибкова активність ефірної олії та вагінальних овулів з ефірною олією чебрецю звичайного по відношенню до штамів патогенних грибів роду Candida, а також паличок і бактерій St. aureus, St. рyogenes, B. anthracoides, E. coli, Kleb.
