Abstract
AbstractIn 1989, Lockheed established a plan to develop an Integrated Systems Engineering Environment which would help us integrate and manage the requirements development process through fluid interfaces among advance design, operations analysis, and design management tools. The ultimate goal is to enable systems engineering (SE) to better meet its objective – To assure the fully integrated development of a product (under controlled cost/schedule constraints) which meets the customer's needs. A System Specification, including system architecture has been developed and feasibility proofing of concepts completed. Several software houses have expressed interest in coding and marketing the system as a commercial systems engineering tool.
