Abstract

AbstractThis paper discusses some of the factors that affect the ability to create a computer‐assisted system engineering environment (CASEE). The system engineering community needs to consider and take action on them as it adopts automated tools and tool integration. The assumption is made that the reader has or desires to add computer assisted tools to their system engineering organization. These observations are based on the author's experience working with customers in several industries to define project support environment requirements for system and software engineering.
