Abstract

The main function of ACC20 remote-control system is to control the starting, reversing and speed regulation of the main engine, to ensure the safe operation of the main engine under various sailing conditions. Practice shows that many ship accidents are caused by the crew’s misoperation of the remote-control system of main engine. Therefore, marine simulator training has become one of the important means to improve the technical level of the crew and ensure the safe navigation of the ship. In the existing marine engine simulator, the simulation model of main engine remote-control system is simplified to different degrees and the training content cannot meet the requirements of the existing training program. In order to solve the above problems, this paper uses modular modeling method to establish a mathematical model of ACC20 main engine remote-control system, including engine telegraph, digital governor, engine safety system and alarm system etc.; using VC++ to write the mathematical model of the calculation program and ACC20 visual human-computer interaction interface program; ACC20 remote-control simulation training system is developed and applied to the existing marine simulator system. The simulation results show that the ACC20 remote-control simulation system developed in this paper has the same interface and function as the real system, which can meet the training requirements of the crew for system operation, parameter query and modification, alarm treatment, fault diagnosis and emergency treatment, overcome the shortcomings of the existing remote-control simulation system.
