Invited for the cover of this issue are Zichao Tang and co-workers at Xiamen University, Yangtze University and the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The image depicts molecular beam sampling vacuum ultraviolet photoionization time-of-flight mass spectrometer (MB-VUV-PI-TOFMS) as an advanced analytical tool for detecting highly oxygen intermediates in the low temperature oxidation of fuels.
