Abstract
Abstract: The Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM): (1) focuses on a pedagogy that brings innovative productive persons to our attention; and (2) organizes programs around a continuum of services model that accommodates a wide variety of potentials across academic domains as well as other areas of human endeavor. The SEM also applies the knowledge gained about how we can help students become more innovative to the process of school change and improvement. Based on the belief that ‘a rising tide lifts all ships’, the SEM includes specific vehicles for providing all students with opportunities for ‘high end’ learning, creativity, and innovative thinking.
