problems of the black community are multi-dimensional. Black Americans suffer from political impotence, from nutritional deficiencies and health defects, from inadequate and unsuitable educational and employment opportunities, from judicial injustice. They are the victims of a broad spectrum of socio-psychological problems, from the day-to-day institutional racism directed toward them by white America, to the internalized insecurities deeloped out of the inability to adjust to prolonged racist assault on the psyche.
