Abstract
The calculating of the stationary ground target coordinates using multiple angular spatial notches obtained using sighting equipment installed on board of a moving aircraft is considered. As intermediate parameters, auxiliary variables were used — slant ranges, which made it possible to reduce the problem to solving a system of linear algebraic equations obtained using the weighted least squares method. A complete algorithm for determining the geodetic coordinates of the target is presented, taking into account the positional and angular position of the aircraft at the time of measurement. Keywords spatial corner notches, multiple notches method, method of the weighted least squares
