Abstract

A methodic for determining the angular velocity of a reciprocating compressor with regenerative heat exchange in the pump mode is considered for a known angular velocity of the machine in the compressor mode. The methodic is based on the use of mathematical models of the working processes of a reciprocating compressor and a reciprocating pump. The developed mathematical models are based on the fundamental laws of conservation of energy, mass, motion and equations of state. As the main condition in determining the angular velocity of the machine in the pump mode, the equality of the maximum pressure losses in the injection process when the machine is operating in the compressor and pump modes, as well as the equality of the relative energy losses in this process, is considered.
