Abstract

A radio relay communication system with a broadband noise-like signal is considered, which is characterized by increased noise immunity in both narrowband and broadband interferences, increased secrecy of information transmission, improved electromagnetic compatibility with neighboring electronic devices. Precipitation causes a significant attenuation of the signal, the greater the intensity of precipitation and the higher the operating frequency of the signal. The input of the decision device of the system receives a signal, the level of which and the signal-to-noise ratio is almost impossible to determine by calculations, because it passes a difficult path with re-radiation from random interference. There is no information in the literature on the direct determination of the signal-to-noise ratio and signal level. The method and scheme of the receiving-transmitting telecommunication system with the optimal reception of the noise-like information signal and the determination of the signal-to-noise ratio and the signal level are proposed. To do this, the noise power, total power and signal noise are measured and the signal-to-noise ratio and signal level are calculated, which is used as an error signal to create systems for automatic power control of radio relay transmitters. Schemes for construction of duplex and simplex radio relay communication systems with automatic power control of radio relay transmitters have been developed.
