Abstract

The diffusion of hydrogen in Ti2NiH2.09 was studied as a function of temperature by means of quasielastic neutron scattering. The diffusion coefficient was found to obey an Arrhenius law D=D0 exp(-EA/kT) with D0=(2+or-1)*10-4 cm2 s-1 and EA=345+or-45 MeV.
