Abstract

Finishing and hardening treatment by reversible surface plastic deformation of cylindrical parts is considered. By computational modeling in the ANSYS program, a finite element model is built to determine the temperature in the deformation zone depending on the parameters of the processing mode, and their influence is determined. A critical temperature is established, the excess of which reduces temporary and residual stresses. Keywords: reversible surface plastic deformation, two-radius roller, computational modeling, temperature, deformation zone. zsa@istu.edu, nquan6799@gmail.com
