Abstract
Abstract A method for the determination of selenium in serum was developed employing a combination of solvent extraction and neutron activation analysis. The loss of selenium by volatilization during digestion was minimized by use of a single-oxidant at low temperature. Comparative analysis was performed to illustrate the efficacy of the method.
