Abstract

Summary Fluorescence induction kinetics were obtained from a photosystem II submembrane fraction isolated from spinach. The relationship between electron transport on the donor and the acceptor side of photosystem II was studied in the presence of specific electron donors and acceptors and electron transport inhibitors. The additives were able to control the redox state of the primary donor and acceptor of P-680 as in unresolved thylakoids.
