Abstract

The intensity and anisotropy of fluorescence induced by static external electric field at a general orientation are studied based on the simplified model of optical transition for a frozen random system. Formulas are explicitly derived for four different polarizations of the incident light in such a system. Angular distributions of the emission intensity and the emission change due to external electric field are tabulated.
