Abstract
A method for removing inorganic 14C from spent ion exchange resins is described. It is shown that the system parameters can be adjusted to give 100% yield. The technique has been used to measure the inorganic 14C in resin samples from the D 2O-moderator purification circuit at a nuclear generating station.
