Abstract

A computational and analytical method for determining the allowances on the lateral surface of the teeth of cylindrical wheels is developed. Experimental studies carried out on a modern gear grinding machine using a highly porous abrasive wheel made it possible to give recommendations on determining the optimal values of allowances depending on the modulus and pitch circle diameter of cylindrical gear wheels.
