Abstract
Using an evacuated wavemeter the energies of members of the 5 sns 1S 0 and 5 snd 1D 2 Rydberg series of Sr have been determined between principal quantum numbers 10 ⪕ n ⪕ 80 with an absolute accuracy of ± 30 MHz. The high accuracy allows for the detection of weak perturbations as demonstrated for the 4d 2 3 P 0 perturber of the 5 sns 1S 0 series. Refined ionization limits for the stable Sr isotopes are presented.
