Abstract

In order to determine of methylpiperazine in water efficiently and accurately,ultra high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS)was used.Using the 5 mmol/L ammonium acetate +0.1% formic acid water acetonitrile as the mobile phase,the electrospray(ESI+)model was used to determine to the content of methylphenidate in the water body by the multiion reaction monitoring(MRM)mode.The result showed that there is a good linear relationship between 0.001~0.5 mg/L,the average recovery rate is 84.67%~91.38%,the coefficient of variation is 3.10%~5.18%,and the lowest detection concentration is 3×10-4mg/L in the deionized water.The method can be used for trace analysis in methylphenidate.
