Abstract

The article is devoted to the problems of estimation and normalization of the parameters of the emission of higher harmonic current components from low-voltage frequency-controlled drives by a method based on domestic (GOST 32144-2013) and international (IEC 61000-3-2: 2009, IEC 61000-3-12: 2004 , IEC 61000-3-4: 1998, IEEE Std 519TM-2014) standards and recommendations (IEC / TR 61000-3-6 ICHQF 2008). The methodology promotes the development of domestic practice of estimating the electromagnetic compatibility of frequency-regulated electric drives with the power supply system based on the normalization of the higher harmonic components of not only the voltage but also the current. For a typical power supply system with frequency-controlled drives, computer simulation and analysis of current harmonic emission has been performed, which made it possible to establish the regularities of the effect of filters of frequency-controlled drives on the internationally accepted EMC performance indicators for standard low-frequency frequency-controlled drives with their power supply system. The results of this article can be useful for application both at the design stage, and at the stage of operation and modernization of electrical installations.
