Abstract

The US Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality identified the lack of knowledge on the determinants of treatment choice (watchful waiting, medical therapy, myomectomy, hysterectomy, nonsurgical invasive interventions) as a key evidence gap in uterine fibroid (UF) research. Our study attempts to close this gap using US data on commercially insured women.
