Abstract

Green technology is a new paradigm shift that has gained much attention in micro, small and medium industries in the recent past. In this study, first-hand figures were compiled through a questionnaire answered by 150 SMEs of Rajasthan. The moto of the study is to develop a conceptual framework and testing of four hypotheses in AMOS after employing EFA and CFA. The verdicts outlined that energy, water, waste management methods, and sustainable green practices were statistically significant and positively associated with the operational performance of the industries. The outcome of the paper renders wider scope for all small, and medium enterprises, particularly in emerging economies in which production growth and the implementation of integrated environmentally sustainable expansion are at vital stages of economic development. The consequences articulate theoretical and administrative connotations for augmenting the operational activities of the industrial associations by adopting green constructs.
