Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of leadership style on employee job satisfaction Alfamart Nagoya Batam. The method used for sampling in this study is a survey. The sample used is 50 respondents Alfamart employees. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire technique. While the analysis of the data using quantitative analysis, namely validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis (R2) and hypothesis testing through t test (partial) and f test (simultaneous). This study obtained multiple linear regression equation Y = (-0.451) + -0.255 + 0.316 +0.152. While the partial hypothesis test (t test) the leadership style variable (X1) has an effect on employee job satisfaction, it is proven from the results of the t- count 2.970 t table 2.011 and Sig 0.005 0.05, the work environment variable (X2) has a significant effect. significant job satisfaction, proved from 3.294 countt table 2.011and 0.002 Sig 0.05. Meanwhile, simultaneously (f test) leadership style (X1) and work environment (X2) have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction, as evidenced by the calculated f value 155.551 f table 0.2.80 and Sig 0.000 0.05. The value of R Square is 0.910, meaning that the variables of leadership style (X1) and work environment (X2) explain the variable of employee job satisfaction by 91.0%, while 9% is explained by other variables not discussed in this study.
