Abstract
Customer satisfaction is one of the important things in improving service quality. This study aims to examine the factors that influence the level of author satisfaction in the management of scientific journals. Also, this study also aims to map the strengths and weaknesses of journal management at State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the determinants of satisfaction level were physical appearance, reliability, and quality of articles. Also, this study shows SWOT results in quadrant V. Institutions found in quadrant V can implement hold and maintain strategies. DOI: 10.15408/ess.v8i2.7957

Hasil analisis (Tabel 5) menunjukkan beberapa kelemahan dari internal pengelolaan jurnal ilmiah yang bisa menjadi hambatan bagi kinerja jurnal ilmiah di UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, antara lain: 1. Belum semua jurnal di UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta telah dikelola secara daring melalui OJS (rataan bobot 0,0508). 2. Kemampuan pengelola jurnal berbasis daring (online) yang belum merata pada tiap pengelola jurnal di UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (rataan bobot 0,518). Apabila seluruh jurnal ilmiah di UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta telah dikelola secara daring maka kapasitas server tidak memadai lagi. 4. Tema (themes) open journal system yang dimiliki UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta terlalu kaku dan tidak menarik (rataan bobot 0,0544). Hal ini menjadikan tampilan laman jurnal ilmiah di UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta menjadi kurang berpenciri. Hal ini menjadikan pengelolaan jurnal di sebagian besar fakultas kurang memiliki fleksibilitas dan inovasi. Hal ini menimbulkan regenerasi yang tidak berkesinambungan dalam pengelolaan jurnal
