Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate how to design an efficient collaborative learning model to develop a constructing consensus framework through CSCL. Our proposed mechanism employs binary tree structure and heterogeneous method to assign and organize the collaborative group. This study used the web-based environment to carry out a series of collaborative learning activities and to facilitate learners’ co-construction of knowledge. According to the results, learners mostly agreed on our proposed collaborative learning model. It can help peer interaction, enhance learners’ learning effects, and achieve higher learning satisfaction.
