Abstract
The project has built and found suitable mix proportion for compacted glassconcrete, corresponding to Soundness B15 of normal concrete by laboratory method. The experimental gradations were used 5% or 10% cement content with the control (witnessing) gradation. The results of the study: finding the suitable components to create glass-concrete, using glass aggregate and grinded sand for the same Soundness as B15; Handling medical-glass-bottles and contributing to handle the local scarcity of sand, making a new construction product that is highly applicable in practice. However, for more efficient use, additional tests of tensile strength and other related properties must be carried out.
