Abstract

The paper reviews five aspects of the introduction of new technology which directly concern how the learner uses the material, and in doing so argues that inadequate attention has been paid to learner-centered as opposed to technology-centered issues. A number of concepts are introduced from the area of management education, and attempts made to raise research agendas from an experience of both higher education teaching and commercial training.
