Abstract

Herein, a novel 1-3-3 piezoelectric composite material is studied, which is obtained by cutting a piezoelectric ceramic and then infusing two types of flexible polymers. The thickness vibration mode of the 1-3-3 piezoelectric composite material is achieved on the basis of the equivalent parameter model, the invariant field theory and Newnham's series-parallel theory. Then, the finite element simulation method is adopted to simulate the frequency under thickness vibration of the 1-3-3 piezoelectric composite material. The results are consistent with the theoretical calculation formula used for resonance frequency. Given two different thicknesses, the ring-like sensitive elements made of 1-3-3 composite piezoelectric material are developed. The measurement results of resonant frequency are consistent with the results of simulation and theoretical calculations.
