Abstract
A temperature monitoring node of wireless network for HVT (high electricity voltage transformers) is designed in this paper. The temperature of transformers is measures by node and then transferred to the host in ZigBee wireless network. The embedded chip CC2430 used as core of hardware and the ZigBee protocol stack is also set up. In the end, a self-organizing wireless sensor networks is fulfilled. The test shows that this monitor system is stable and reliable. This system is suitable for the use of temperature detecting in high-voltage substations.
