Abstract
As Terahertz communication technology developed, the research for 0.14THz folded waveguide Traveling Wave Tube (FWTWT) require higher power and wider band. The design and simulation on the two beams FWTWT was presented, including two beams electronic-gun, two circuits Folded Waveguide Slow Wave Structure (FW SWS). The simulation for electronic-gun is obtained two beams emission in operating voltage 15kV. The single beam current is calculated 40mA. Two circuits FW SWS are analyzed, including power splitter and combiner and sever. The combined power efficiency is about 99%. By the simulation, the combined output power is about 56W in frequency 0.14THz. The gain is 31.4dB and 3dB bandwidth is 7GHz.
