Abstract
Solar chimney power generation system has the advantages of clean, no phase change heat transfer working medium, simple structure, low cost, and so on. It has been widely paid attention to and developed and can be combined with various forms of energy utilization, especially suitable for the rich solar energy resources, open areas, and thermal power supply is difficult to the region. To meet the minimum start-up requirements of a solar chimney power generation system, the minimum start-up wind speed of generator operation is studied on the angle between blade and turbine spindle connection (i.e., blade offset angle) and offset direction. The solar chimney power generation system is theoretically calculated and simulated to determine the minimum wind speed. Through ANSYS simulation of blades with different bias directions, the optimal bias angle is obtained as 6° by taking different downward bias angles. Appropriately reducing the area of blade pressure part reduces blade weight and saves material. Under the condition of not affecting the strength, the driving force is increased by changing the size of the blade root joint and the area of the blade tip stress area. Match accelerator and electromagnetic clutch.
