Abstract

For qualifying the reliability and enhancing the performance of automotive power electronic unit (PEU), a testing system based on energy-consuming platform is developed, which adopts advanced sensing and automatic control technologies to simulate the real working environment of PEU. The system mainly includes high and low voltage energy supply units, electronic load unit, dummy load units, hydraulic water cooling unit, test console unit, temperature control unit and main control unit, and experiments are implemented on the system for PEU products. Meanwhile, system capability index CGK and GR&R are 1.912 and 2.74% separately calculated by measurement system analysis (MSA) method used data obtained from a large number of tests, which indicates that the accuracy, stability and repeatability of testing system are excellent. All analysis results demonstrate that the system meets the performance indicator requirement of testing, and can provide accurate test data for the development of PEU.
