Abstract

A multi-channel signal acquisition system for acquiring the seismic signal in the field is developed in this paper, which has features of small in size, easy to carry, easy to use, less additional requirements. Firstly, the system scheme is designed and the structure and composition of the system are determined. Secondly, a kind of seismic sensor is selected according to the frequency characteristic of the target. Then, an amplifying circuit is designed on the basis of the target frequency and the response of the sensor. A data acquisition card is selected according to the actual requirements of multi-channel signal acquisition system, and the hardware of the system is ready after the integration of the above components with a notebook computer. On the basis of the above, the acquisition software of the system is developed by the use of a virtual instrument development environment. The software enables eight-channel signal acquisition, 2 waveform display &control, and simple spectrum analysis. Finally, a multichannel signal acquisition experiment is carried out and result shows that the system performance meets the needs of the acquisition.
