Abstract

The paper is devoted to the gain scheduled robust control system design using example of pitch hold mode for small unmanned aerial vehicle. Parametric robust optimization for family of gain-scheduled PID-controllers is provided by using Nelder-Mead's simplex method. During flight envelope the unmanned aerial vehicle is subjected to the external stochastic disturbances. This technique is useful to obtain flexibility and robustness in the controller's automatic design.
